=========================
   GENERAL INFORMATION
=========================
Glossary:
 ZModeler - 3D modelling software developed by Oleg M.
 Filter - the plug-in module for ZModeler that can be used for "loading"
              and "saving" custom files.
 "the Game" - Ultimate Ride.

UR.zmf is a filter for ZModeler v1.06e and higher. Filter allows you to
open (import) and save (export) .MX and .MHX files that are capatible with
the Game.

ZModeler is not the Game editor and does not affilieate with Game developers
and publishers.

=========================
         LEGAL
=========================
Contact Game developers for complete legal node on replacing cars, modifying
or adding new stuff to the Game. In most of caes it's illegal and you are the
only resposible for any consequence it might cause.

Reusing (converting into other games, selling etc.) of any stock
Game's models (meshes/art) is law-breaking. You have been warned,
be resposible!

Converting any mesh into the Game for farther releases requires prior
agreement of the mesh's author.

=========================
        FEATURES
=========================
.UR filter provides you the following features:

Importing .MX and .MHX files
  + meshes
  + textures (.tuv "textures" are not supported)
  + Chrome (is automatically applied via 'chrome.bmp')
  + Hierarchy (if opening .MHX file)
  + Dummy nodes (non-geometry)
Exporting object(s) via UR filter
  + meshes
  + multiple files export (of the same kind (either .MX or .MHX))
  + hierarchy (if exporting .MHX files)
  + Dummy nodes (invisible in Game)

=========================
     REQUIRED TOOLS
=========================
You need the following tools in order to work with UR:

- ... to extract files from the Game
- ... to pack files into the Game.

=========================
       IMPORTING
=========================
To import a .MX or .MHX file, click on Import button in toolbar or
hit Ctrl-I. Then pick desired .MX or .MHX file. The file will be
imported into ZModeler. Textures should lay in the same folder as
the file you open. If textures are found and supported by ZModeler,
then the mesh will appear textured.

Imported objects preserve single property: "Dummy object". These
objects are not visible in the game and used as intermediate nodes in
scene hierarchy. Inside ZModeler these objects are standard 'diamond-like'
objects. Each object can be made 'dummy' via setting custom flag #1.
(In objects proerties set Meningfull for 'Ultimate Ride' and place
checkmark near 'Dummy Object'.

=========================
       EXPORTING
=========================
UR filter allows you to export files that are capatible with the Game.
Only .MX and .MHX kids are supported. The first one (.MX) allows
exporting any selection of objects. The second (.MHX) exports hierarchy
of objects starting from any object you specify (the object and it's
children (direct or indirect) are exported).

To export an .MX or .MHX file, hit Export button or press Ctrl-E, select
'Ultimate Ride' file type and type the name of the file. Make sure to
type extension (either .MX or .MHX). Hit Save button and an object-selection
dialog box will appear. You need to highlight there the objects you would
like to be exported. If you are exporting an .MHX file, child nodes must
not be highlighted, since they are exported automatically.
